One Day in Vrindavan: The Perfect Itinerary
Only have a day? You can still experience the soul of Vrindavan. This itinerary balances darshan, food and the town's most magical moments — morning to night.
Early morning — Mangla aarti
Begin before sunrise with Mangla aarti at a temple like Radha Raman or ISKCON. The pre-dawn darshan is tranquil and far less crowded.
Morning — Banke Bihari & old town
Head to Banke Bihari as it opens, then wander the surrounding lanes and Loi Bazaar. Stop for a hot kachori-sabzi breakfast and a thick malai lassi.
Midday — ISKCON & lunch
Visit ISKCON Vrindavan for darshan and kirtan, then enjoy a sattvic thali at Govinda's before the afternoon heat.
Afternoon — Prem Mandir
Rest during the hottest hours, then explore the marble grandeur of Prem Mandir and its gardens as the day cools.
Evening — light show & Yamuna aarti
End with the Prem Mandir light show after sunset, or the serene Yamuna aarti at Keshi Ghat. A perfect close to a full day of darshan.
