About Banke Bihari Temple

The Shri Banke Bihari Temple is one of the most revered temples dedicated to Lord Krishna in Vrindavan. The deity, a form of Krishna in his tribhanga (three-bend) posture, is famously never shown with a continuous gaze — a curtain is drawn every few minutes so devotees are not overwhelmed by the divine darshan.
